Access cover (1)
Set on work surface with right side
toward you.
Remove and retain access cover (1).
Using cross tip screwdriver, remove and
retain two screws (1), Iockwashers, flat
washers, insulating washers, and terminal
lug securing transistor Q1 (3) to audio
amplifier chassis (2).
Remove and discard insulation sleeving
on transistor leads. Using soldering kit,
tag and desolder wires from transistor
leads. Remove and discard defective
transistor Q1 (3).
Inspect and replace as required.
Install replacement mounting pad (4) on
bottom of transistor Q1 (3).
Install replacement insulation sleeving on
transistor leads. Using soldering kit, solder
tagged wires to correct leads of transistor
Q1 (3). Remove wire tags.
Using cross tip screwdriver, install two
retained screws (1), Iockwashers, flat
washers, insulating washers, and terminal
lug securing transistor Q1 (3) to audio
amplifier chassis (2).
Install.
