12-20. TROUBLESHOOTING.
Troubleshooting is done on a faulty RCU. The steps to determine if an RCU is faulty and how to troubleshoot it are
illustrated in the flowchart in figure 12-9. The following is a description of the flowchart. (See paragraph 12-22 for
a description of the symbols.)

When an RCU Is received from unit maintenance, inspect it for damage. Repair any damage before
proceeding with testing. See section IV if repairs are necessary.
Use the operational check (paragraph 12-23) to locate the troubleshooting flowchart to be used.
Using the troubleshooting flowchart identified, troubleshoot to the defective module.
Replace the defective module. Follow the procedures in section IV.
Verify the repair. Perform all unpassed steps in operational check in paragraph 12-23. When the op-
erational check (OP CHECK) is passed, the RCU can be returned for use.
