PMCS TABLE, The PMCS table lists the checks required to keep your radio in good
shape.
l The when column tells you when to do a check or service.
l The procedure column tells you how to do the check or service. Follow the
instructions carefully.
l The equipment is not ready/available if column tells when and why your radio
cannot be used. The terms ready/available and "mission capable refer to
the same status: Equipment is on hand and is able to perform its combat mis-
sions. (See DA Pam 738-750.)
l Read the cautions and warnings in the front of this manual before doing PMCS.
l Make sure your radio is assembled and ready for your mission.
l If your radio fails to operate after performing a PMCS, do the troubleshooting
procedures in section II of this chapter.
Report the problem and the actions
youve taken on the proper form(s). See DA Pam 738-750. If performing PMCS
and troubleshooting procedures do not solve the problem, have unit mainte-
nance check your radio.
