a. Disconnect W14 test cable P6 at J1.
a. DMM reads less than 5 ohms.

Set DMM to 200 ohms scale.
If not, go to chart 11.
Set RESPONSE: 6.
Set RESP SEL: S2.
Set TEST EQPT SELECTOR: DMM.
Read DMM.
b. Disconnect W14 test cable P4 at J5.
b. DMM reads less then 5 ohms.
Connect P6 to J1.
If not, go to chart 12.
Set RESPONSE: 10.
Set RESP SEL: S1. Read DMM.
c. Set RESPONSE: 9. Read DMM.
c. DMM reads less than 5 ohms.
If not, go to chart 13.
d. Set RESP SEL: S2. Read DMM.
d. DMM reads less than 5 ohms.
If not, go to chart 14.
e. Set RESPONSE: 8.
e. DMM reads less than 5 ohms.
Set RESP SEL: S1. Read DMM.
If not, connector 8A2P1 is bad.
f. Disconnect W14 test cable P6 at J1.
f. Scope CH 1 reads 400 to 600 mV p-p.
Set STIMULUS: 8.
If not, connector 8A2P1 is bad.
Set RESPONSE: 10.
Set TEST EQPT SELECTOR: SCOPE.
Read scope.
g. Set STIMULUS: 6. Read scope.
g. Scope CH 1 reads 400 to 600 mV p-p.
if not, connector 8A2P1 is bad.
h. Set STIMULUS: 7.
h. Scope CH 1 reads 400 to 600 mV p-p.
Set RESPONSE: 9. Read scope.
If not, connector 8A2P1 is bad.
i. Set STIMULUS: 5. Read scope.
i. Scope CH 1 reads 400 to 600 mV p-p.
If not, connector 8A2P1 is bad.
j. Disconnect W1 from DMM.
j. DMM reads less than 5 ohms. If not,
Connect test leads to DMM.
the wire from 8A2J3-B to 8A2A1-E5,
Disconnect W14 test cable P5 at J4.
or connector 8A2J3, is bad.
Connect P5 to J3.
Connect DMM (-) to 8A2E1.
Connect DMM (+) to TP9. Read DMM.
k. Connect DMM (+) to TP12.
k. DMM reads less than 5 ohms. If not,
Connect DMM (-) to 8A2E2. Read DMM.
the wire from 8A2J3-C to 8A2A1-E4,
or connector 8A2J3, is bad.
l. Disconnect DMM test leads.
l. DMM reads 25 to 29 V dc. If not, the

wire from 8A2J3-F to 8A2TB1-2,
Set DMM to 200 V scale.
or connector 8A2J3, is bad.
Set TEST EQPT SELECTOR: DMM.
Set RESPONSE: 7.
Set RESP SEL: S2.
Set CB1: ON. Read DMM.
