f. Frequency Hopping Multiplexer (FHMUX). The Frequency Hopping Multiplexer replaces the TD-
1288/1299 single channel multiplexers. The FHMUX allows up to four SINCGARS radios to operate at the same
time in stationary or mobile mode, while utilizing only one antenna.
g. Enhanced Position Locations Reporting System (EPLRS). The EPLRS system provides near real time,
jam resistant, secure data distribution, and communications, identification, position location, navigation aid and
automatic reporting for tactical forces. Various applications are the MANPACK, wheeled and tracked vehicles,
aircraft and grid reference.
