ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS.
The following steps explain how to assemble the manpack radio set.
Tools:
Tool Kit, Electronic Equipment TK-101/G

a.
FCTN switch
Set to OFF.
b.
Hold up battery (HUB)
Fully loosen two captive screws
cover (2)
(1) and remove cover (2).
c.
Hold up battery (3)
If an old battery is present,
remove and discard it. Install new
battery with NEGATIVE side
toward the cover.
d. HUB cover (2)
Set in place and tighten two
captive screws (1).
Over-tightening of HUB cover
screws can damage radio front
panel.
