Set upside down on work surface with
rear toward you. See figure 13-2.
Use flat tip screwdriver. Fully loosen, re-
move heat sink assembly (2), and set on
work surface.
Using a pocket knife, remove damaged
instruction plate (5) from power supply
adapter chassis (1), and discard.
Using alcohol and cheesecloth, remove
all adhesive residue left from damaged
instruction plate on power supply
adapter chassis (1).
Obtain replacement instruction plate (5).
Apply trichloroethane to back of
instruction plate to activate adhesive.
Install instruction plate (5) on power
supply adapter chassis (1).
Use flat tip screwdriver. Hold heat sink
assembly (2) in place on power supply
adapter chassis (1). Install and hand
tighten 18 captive screws. Use torque
screwdriver. Torque screws to 8 to 10
in-lb.
