Use  socket  wrench  and  1  1/16-inch  socket. Install  and  hand  tighten  retained  hex  nut and  replacement  Iockwasher  securing  the Before  and  after  soldering, clean  wires  and  connector pins  with  alcohol  and  cot- ton swabs. J1  connector  (4)  on  the  chassis.  Use  torque wrench  and  1  1/16-inch  socket.  Torque nut  to  70  in-lb. Use  cross  tip  screwdriver.  Install  and  hand tighten  retained  screw,  flat  washer,  and replacement  Iockwasher  securing  the  pro- tective  rubber  cap  (3)  for  the  J1  connec- tor  on  the  chassis. Install  two  retained  bevel  washers  on Ensure  that  serrated  side two  retained  thumbscrews  (3).  See of  each  bevel  washer  is figure  13-8. is  facing  toward  the thumbscrew. Install  two  retained  rim  clenching  clamps Ensure  that  flat  side on  two  retained  thumbscrews  (3),  and of  each  rim  clenching insert  the  end  of  the  thumbscrews  into clamp  is  facing  toward the  holes  in  the  chassis. the  bevel  washer. Use  long  nose  pliers.  Install  two  retained flat  washers  on  the  two  thumbscrews. Position  retained  rear  access  cover  on the  chassis.  See  figure  13-7. Use  flat  tip  screwdriver.  Install  and  hand tighten  the  12  captive  screws  securing the  rear  access  cover  to  the  chassis.  Use torque  screwdriver.  Torque  screws  to  8 to  10  in-lb. Position  retained  heat  sink  assembly  on the  chassis.  See  figure  13-2. Use  flat  tip  screwdriver.  Install  and  hand tighten  the  18  captive  screws  securing the  heat  sink  assembly  on  the  chassis. Use  torque  screwdriver.  Torque  screws to  8  to  10  in-lb.
