Use long nose pliers and soldering kit.
Attach and solder each tagged wire to
correct lead of resistor, and remove
wire tags.
Replace.
Install retained mounting plate on battery
tray subassembly.

Use long nose pliers and soldering kit.
Desolder wire from terminal on zener
diode. See figures 14-5 and 14-6.
Use 3/8-inch open-end wrench. Remove
and inspect hex nut, flat washer, and
Iockwasher securing VR1 zener diode to
chassis. If damaged, obtain replacement.
Remove and discard.
Obtain replacement VR1 zener diode
and position it on chassis.
Use 3/8-inch open-end wrench. Install
