14-29. REPLACEMENT
Tools:
Use socket wrench and 9/16-inch socket.
Remove and inspect hex nut and IET lock-
washer securing DS1 lamp holder to chas-
sis. If damaged, obtain replacement.
Remove and discard.
Obtain replacement DS1 lamp holder.
Install and hand tighten retained hex nut
and IET Iockwasher securing lamp holder
to chassis. Use torque wrench and 9/16-
inch socket. Torque nut to 30 in-lb.
Use long nose pliers and soldering kit.
Attach and solder tagged wires to cor-
rect terminals on lamp holder, and re-
move wire tags.
Install retained light lens, lamp, and
o-ring into DS1 lamp holder (14).
Install assembly in chassis.
Install retained mounting plate on battery
tray subassembly.

plate facing away from you. See figure
14-3.
b. Seal screw (6)
Use flat tip screwdriver. Remove and in-
spect seal screw. If defective, discard it.
INSTALLATION

Obtain replacement seal screw. Use flat
tip screwdriver. Install and hand tighten
seal screw, securing it to chassis. Use
torque screwdriver. Torque screw to 20 in-lb.
